earthpure organics has developed a new and innovative product rating system to help consumers make value-based purchase decisions - eco-scale will display a product's rating of organic, sustainable, and social good, as well as provide consumers with a straightforward way to evaluate products and manufacturers. earthpure organics is urging other manufacturers and industry leaders to adopt eco-scale as a consumer awareness standard within the United States. Using a simple numbering system format, eco-scale rates important factors such as: non-GMO ingredients, biodegradability, levels of post consumer content, certified organic ingredients, SB12 compliance, fair trade certified, low glycemic sweeteners, renewable resource, low carbon footprint, alternative energy support, and others. The combined valuation will be displayed on the front label of products, helping consumers make informed choices.
