With nearly 3 million Americans suffering from Celicacs Disease (an allergy due to gluten) and with more and more consumers focusing on the overall healthfulness of their food, Niman
Ranch understands that this is an important and necessary change to their product line. While most of Niman Ranch'ss products have always been gluten free, there remained a handful of
items that could not make this claim. In an effort to address consumer requests and minimize confusion, any product formulations containing gluten have been changed, making the entire
line gluten free.
We understand that gluten free is a major concern with consumers, so by developing an entire gluten free product line we hope to put our customers minds at ease. They won'st feel like
they need to read every Niman Ranch label to know whether or not that particular item is gluten free, said Jeff Tripician, Chief Marketing Officer at Niman Ranch. And as always our
products come from animals born and humanely raised in the U.S. by small family farmers and ranchers who never use antibiotics or added hormones and feed their livestock all-vegetarian
feeds.
These all-natural, gluten free products include a variety of Pork Dinner Sausages, Bacons, Canadian Bacon, Franks, Salames, pre-cooked and sauced St. Louis-Style Ribs and a variety of
styles of Hams.
