Unthirsty.com Find Your Happy Hour

Unthirsty.com (www.Unthirsty.com) launched in June 2006, the site featured 300 happy hours stretching mainly between Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington. Today, more than 2,000 bars from all over the world appear on Unthirsty. From Sputnik Bar in Auckland, New Zealand, and Mai in Al Iskandariyah, Egypt, to the Charlack Pub in Charlack, Missouri, and Brooklyn's Twisted Lounge, users worldwide have discovered the benefits of this unique site.

Dozens of new happy hours are being added daily, and thus far, Unthirsty remains ad-free, though founders Jason Glaspey and Matt King believe relevant opportunities could benefit the site and its users. ''Right now, this is a total labor of love,'' says Glaspey. "We built this site for ourselves, and our friends demanded we make it available to them. Their friends demanded the same, and that's Unthirsty. It's always been a community-driven site, so our users are the ones who make it what it is: a fun tool that brings people together while providing a place where you can share your favorite happy hours with others, as well as find new ones."

King adds, "I think Unthirsty is unique because it's a social networking site that encourages going out and getting together with friends. It's become a community portal and people all over get to experience the benefits. It takes two minutes to either find a place or add a new one and send your friends a link. We're really excited to see how people will use Level 2."

Along with coverage of the entire U.S., Unthirsty can also now track happy hours in Canada, England, Western Europe, as well as Australia. Anyone can add a happy hour in their area, even without a user account.

With its simple format, proven standard features, pleasing design, and new, advanced features, Unthirsty.com (
