Kimberly Burton Allen, co-owner (with husband Christopher) of A Butler's Manor Bed and Breakfast in Southampton, has recently published a cookbook titled A Butler's Manor: The Cookbook featuring many highlights of the popular B&B's breakfasts.
"I've been working on the recipes since we opened in 2002," Allen said. "Repeat guests would ask year after year, 'Where's that cookbook you promised to write' I kept saying I'd finish it
during the winter, when we're quieter. It took me five years of winters to finally make good on that promise."
The 124-page paperback cookbook, coil bound for ease of use, contains more than 50 breakfast recipes including savory entrees, breads, muffins, French toast specialties, and more. The
book is full color and features a photograph of each of the recipes, as well as a full index. Suggestions are included for accommodating dietary restrictions such as gluten and lactose
intolerance, as well as vegetarian options.
The book is published through the online publisher Lulu.com and is available on their website at www.lulu.com, or on A Butler's Manor's website at
www.abutlersmanor.com. For more information, contact Kimberly Allen at 631-283-8550.
