Taking their cues from high-end automobile manufacturers, Retailer Offers Premium Coffee Makers with Certified Pre-Owned Status.

LAFAYETTE, IN July 20, 2005 - Indiana-based gourmet retailer, JL Hufford Coffee and Tea Company, gets authorization to sell Factory Certified Pre-Owned super-automatic Jura-Capresso coffee centers.

Super-automatic coffee centers eliminate user error by automatically grinding coffee beans (at just the grinder setting), then compressing the grounds (with just the right amount of pressure), and brewing just the right amount of water through the grounds. The machines even dispose of the puck (espresso-speak for a hunk of spent coffee grounds) and tell the user when it's time to rinse, clean, and change the water filter. These machines make crema coffee (a type of coffee that is brewed under extremely high pressure, similar to espresso only with larger grounds and more water), espresso, and lattes and cappuccinos.

Says JL Hufford Sales Manager James Pappas, "The Certified Pre-Brewed series [of coffee machines] allows us to sell this elite class of coffee maker to an entirely new group of consumers." Consumers who, says James, were "aware of the superior taste of crema coffee, but could not afford to purchase a machine that could produce [crema coffee]."

Certified Jura-Capresso Pre-Brewed super-automatic coffee machines are in "like new condition", and include all original accessories and manuals, a full one-year warranty, two-way prepaid shipping for all service shipments, JL Hufford Superautomatika Blend (a coffee crafted specifically for use in super-automatic coffee makers), and sell for prices that are up to 60% below MSRP. The entry-level Pre-Brewed Capresso C1000 starts at $489.00.
