Fresh Spinach Makes a Return to Sherman Oaks

Fresh spinach made a return to The Dressing Room this week, as the government has released the ban on this popular produce. Owners Don Schaefer and Ronly Ferguson were excited to bring this well-liked green back into their salad restaurant on Monday. The Dressing Room serves 6 different types of greens, romaine, iceberg, mixed field greens, shredded cabbage, arugula and now, once again, spinach.



Overall sales at the restaurant were not impacted by the lack of this leafy green, but guests are very excited to have it back. 's8220;There was no decline in overall sales in the past few weeks, however, spinach salad sales are still a little off compared with before the embargo.'s8221; said Don Schaefer.



The Dressing Room is located in Sherman Oaks on busy Ventura Boulevard, and has been in operation for over 3 months. Guests at the restaurant are able to choose from 17 different salads, or they can choose to 's8220;create their own's8221;, choosing from 6 different types of greens, over 70 toppings, 16 styles of protein (like chicken, steak, salmon, seared ahi tuna, chicken tenders, tofu, etc.) and finally 35 different dressings. All of the ingredients are assembled to order and chopped in front of the guest before serving. The address of the restaurant is 14622 Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks.
