Hudson Valley Wine Festival Announces 2005 Festival Dates

March 4, 2005 -- The Hudson Valley Wine Festival, www.hudsonvalleywinefest.com, presented annually by WineRacks.com www.wineracks.com, announces the event dates of September 9th, 10th and 11th at Greig Farm in Red Hook, NY. The event, in its fourth season, promises to continue the tradition of being a Premier Celebration of Food, Wine and Entertainment. There will be Fine Food and plenty of Wine Tasting from some of the region's finest wineries and vendors. In addition, there will be many family activities, such as hayrides, berry picking and musical entertainment. This is a rain or shine event, under the protection of huge festival tents.



According to Michael Babcock, WineRacks.com President, "the event is already gearing up to be even bigger than last year's festival, with an expanded Festival site in the beautiful autumn setting of Southern New York State. The expanded site will allow for more wineries, vendors and patrons to attend this already spectacular event. Once again, we will kick off the Festival with a Friday Evening Grand Reserve Tasting. Last year's Tasting was a limited seating, fine food and wine showcase, including select vintages of many wineries and gourmet food from several of the area's leading chefs and finest restaurants. The remainder of the weekend will be filled with Wine tasting, Entertainment and Wine and Cooking Exhibitions".



The Hudson Valley Wine Festival provides a tremendous opportunity for wineries and vendors to showcase their wares to an audience of thousands from the Tri-State area and beyond.
