March 4, 2005 -- It seems like just yesterday when Cathleen Chartier and a fellow culinary school friend ventured out and purchased a small catering company with a modest customer base
and revenue stream.Today, Hugs and Quiches Catering, who has been recognized as Best Caterer by Creative Loafing Best of Atlanta, has more than doubled in size since that time and is
still growing strong.Today, Hugs and Quiches has many of Atlanta's top companies as clients coming from a variety of industries. To support that growth, they have a staff of 12 dedicated
employees.
Owners, Cathleen Chartier and Julie Voshel credit their company's success to great food, promptness, attention to detail and building customer relationships. Chartier studied at The Art
Institute of Atlanta culinary school and graduated in 1997. The kitchen is managed by Executive Chef Mark Baker who is also involved in menu design and Customer Care.
"During school I always dreamed of having my own catering company", said Chartier, "now, after endless hardwork, the vision is coming together". Chartier's next imminent goal is to be
listed in the Atlanta Book of Lists in the Top Caterer Listing, which is ranked by company revenue size. At the current growth rate, Hugs is only about a year or so away to making it!
Hugs and Quiches services include corporate catering for parties of 12 or more and special events such as weddings, birthdays, reunions and much more. Catering clients can select their
