May 3, 2005 -- StarX Wines, the sole importer of an extensive portfolio of still and sparkling wines from the finest wine growing regions across the world, made its debut today in India,
with the launch of 11 sparkling and 21 different varieties of still wines. With this launch, Indian wine lovers can now explore a rich, charming and sizeable variety of good reliable,
everyday wines from vineyards of the world. To be retailed through wine and spirit shops, restaurants, bars and hotels, the retail price of these wines ranges from Rs. 650 to Rs. 1050,
providing affordable access to the exhilarating experience of wine drinking to both the novice and the expert.
At the celebratory launch party, Mr. Ishvien M. Singh, Managing Director, StarX Wines, said, "With more and more Indians traveling overseas and owing to a far greater exposure to various

Initially launched in Delhi, these wines will be readily available through the government wines and spirit shops, at restaurants, bars and clubs in the city. StarX Wines is installing
stylish looking retail shelves at the vendor outlets where each wine will be labeled and displayed. In the second phase, StarX Wines will be made available in all metro cities and the
company also plans to introduce more brands to the market such as Bavaria beer, a premium beer from The Netherlands. As part of its regular marketing activities, StarX will organize
frequent wine tasting and appreciation sessions in the capital in association with leading restaurants and bars.

The assortment of wines includes a variety of dry, medium-dry, aromatic, fruity, medium sweet, and sweet wines in whites, reds and ross. Demonstrative of the diversity of wines, this
introductory portfolio includes various brands with a range of varietals from major wine producing countries like, Castillo Varez - a Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile, African Tree - a
Chenin Blanc from South Africa, Faber - sparkling red wine from Germany amongst several others.
