Vintastic The France Show 2009 at Londons Earls Court a Must for Wine...



Every day from 9th -11th January, The France Show 2009 at London'ss Earls Court will bring together some of the best wine and Champagne France has to offer with expert opinions through dedicated Wine Seminar theatres (http://www.thefranceshow.com). There will be four theatres in total, each giving you the opportunity to discuss and taste the wines of your choice. Limited tickets are available to buy on-line at the show'ss official site at www.thefranceshow.com and posted to ticket purchasers before the show.





Theatre 1 will feature the 'sVin de Cahors's Wine Seminars. Each session will be conducted by Laurent Marre, Wine Consultant who will explain specificities of the terroir, the grape variety (malbec), present the ch's226;teaux and vineyards, and taste a selection of wines on each day of the show. There are six sessions a day, all priced at 's163;7.50 per ticket.



Theatre 2 will feature Bordeaux Wines Seminars and will host five daily tastings. Each tasting is 's163;7.50 and will show six wines. The tastings will follow a summary of themes such as vertical tasting of wines from one region over different vintages, horizontal tastings of wines from one region and the same vintage, Everyday Bordeaux tasting of wines from six selected regions from Bordeaux and the chance to sample award winning wines.



Theatre 3 will host Wine Seminars presented by Individual Organisations. These include 'sDiversity of Champagne's by Francoise Peretti, the UK Director of the Champagne Information Bureau; a tutored tasting of a selection of ciders from Brittany; Beaujolais tasting and a tutored tasting of a selection of wines.



Theatre 4 will feature Wine Seminars by Pascal Meril who will be tasting a selection of wines including Caves du Mont Tauch; Chiroubles Vieilles Vignes 2006 Cru de Beaujolais and Ch's226;teau Guilloton - 's163;7.50, Les Vins Skall and Armagnac of 3 different vintages (1975, 1979 + 1982) and a tutored tasting of a selection of wines - 's163;7.50
