SeventeenYearOld High School Student Introduces New TicketAuctionnet

January 20, 2005 - In just thirty seconds, months of work came together as the newly designed Ticket Auction launched onto the web. "We've completely remodeled our website with eye-catching pictures and colors." "Improved functionality makes the new Ticket-Auction.net website easier to use for both buyers and sellers," says the Cheltenham High School (PA) student.

Users will be able to search by date, team, venue, or metro area, and even browse local or hot events. Stadium seating diagrams in every auction make the website fun and user friendly. The most innovative change is in the introduction of Metro or Local pages with unique search capability. According to industry consultants, localized searching, especially in the secondary ticket market, will be the trend for 2005. Buyers will be able to find out what's happening in their hometown or plan visits around events in destination cities. They will be able to instantly check ticket availability. Matt followed that "The best example of our new locality can be seen in the array of Eagles Championship Tickets and the new ease with which they can be found and browsed."

Sellers will now have the ability to customize the way they go to market. With a flexible technology Ticket-Auction.Net can modify auctions to better serve seller's individual interests and goals.Ticket-Auction.Net currently has arrangements with several regional ticket sellers to list and sell their tickets on the site providing a ticket database of over 13,000 auctions, enough so that just about anyone can find tickets to any event in any part of the country.

Ticket-Auction.Net has been optimizing the website for major search engines and they now rank first out of over 2 million results on Google, Yahoo and MSN. The result of this optimization has been a steady flow of over 200 new visitors a day for the last six months with thousands of registered users. Banner ads on the Ticket-Auction.Net website have resulted in over 4,000 click-throughs for our affiliate sites, resulting in over $15,000 in sales.

In Style magazine recently featured Ticket Auction in an article of places to shop online and later this month Matthew's success story will also be featured with Ticket-Auction.net in the Annual Wharton Small Business Center Newsletter.

Ticket-Auction.Net is a Pennsylvania corporation headquartered in Elkins Park, PA.
