Hundreds of sport teams can attribute their success to the Bigger Faster Stronger (BFS) program. In fact, over 300 high school football teams have won state championship titles while using the program. The conditioning system is the program of choice for coaches and athletic directors in over 9,000 high schools, 160 colleges, and 40 professional franchises. Now the popular program has been updated in the second edition of Bigger Faster Stronger (Human Kinetics, March 2009).
The new edition offers the most current strength training techniques and exercise variations, with updates on instruction and coaching points for the squat, deadlift, clean, and bench
press. Participants are also able to monitor their results with a new tracking system that includes training logs, a readiness program, in- and off-season programs, and tips for keeping
the program on the right track. In addition, the updated text features program implementation guidelines for any athlete or sport.
Greg Shepard, founder and owner of BFS, has been providing strength training programs to high schools and colleges for over 30 years. His streamlined strength and conditioning program
allows coaches and trainers to get more athletes in the training room to enjoy greater success in their sports.
