Due to the recent events surrounding Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the residents of Louisiana are being dealt severe blows to all areas of their life. While the citizens deal with being
displaced, jobless, and sometimes homeless, they are reclaiming their cities and the lifestyle which disappeared.
One of the few reliefs experienced by this sturdy group is their team, the New Orleans Saints.
Recent reports lead to believe that the Saints are positioning themselves to leave the city and state in a time when they are most needed.
A grass-roots effort to circumvent this move, spearheaded by a group of online citizens at www.saintsreport.com has begun. This group is paying for advertising to inform the state and
surrounding areas of the economic importance of a pro team, the entertainment relief this team provides, and to generate awareness about needed attendance at the games in La. Several
advertising venues are being employed at this time including public announcements, an email campaign, banners, and even a piloted banner due to fly over the game in Baton Rouge. Save Our
Saints is the rallying cry.
