FranchiseMart of Boca Raton Hosts Franchise Business OpportunitiesShow

FranchiseMart (http://www.franchisemart.com), a retail location that lets entrepreneurs research business opportunities in a pressure-free setting before investing, will host the Franchise 's38; Business Opportunities Show on Saturday, Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Town Center at Boca Raton, a Simon Mall.

The event will help potential entrepreneurs in South Florida discover how to go into business for themselves, offering information on a number of retail and home-based franchise and business opportunities.

In this economy, many people who have been laid off from corporate America are looking for ways to invest severance checks to become their own boss, says Adam Blank, owner of FranchiseMart in Boca Raton. Buying a franchise is a smart alternative.

Studies show that 80 percent of new start-up businesses fail within the first 12 months while franchises have a success rate of about 95 percent. Our goal is to help people find success with the business opportunity that is right for them, says Blank. Franchises offer support systems and proven business models that greatly improve success rates.

The show supports the initiative to revitalize business in South Florida. The city of Boca Raton has made a commitment to attract new businesses and to keep those already in the city, says Mayor Susan Whelchel. The Franchise 's38; Business Opportunities Show will play a part in driving new business in our city.

Thirty franchise systems and 20 business opportunity models will be represented at the show. The event will offer the same free consultation FranchiseMart provides in-store but with the added bonus of face-to-face interaction with representatives from franchise and business organizations.

Attendees will have the opportunity to sample products and gather information to find business opportunities that fit their budget, skills, and interests. SBA Express representatives will also be on-site to process loan applications.

The city-wide commitment to revive the business sector of Boca Raton would not be possible without partnerships from strong local players, says Mayor Whelchel. I'sm impressed by the support Simon Malls has shown for this important initiative.
