"I've always been interested in animals -- I've always had a feel for them," says Norma Crozier, owner of www.HeavenPetUrns.com. As a pet owner, Norma opened her store in December of 2007 to help ease the pain of people who have lost a pet. "My compassion is there for them and what they are dealing with and going through," she explains, letting her customers know that for her, this is not just a business.

"People can relate to one another and help each other out for what they're going through. I hope people won't hesitate to talk to me about what they're feeling; my web site is as personal to me as this is personal to them." Norma also states that she will be talking about various animal charities on her blog, including a local fund for pet medical costs that benefits people who cannot afford to pay the full price for expensive pet operations.

Above all, Norma wants to give pet lovers a way to commemorate their lost friends, whether it's an urn to keep with trophies for a show dog or champion horse or a personal urn for the ashes of a lifelong pet. "I would like people to know that their questions and what they're feeling are important to me, as much as they are important to them," assures Norma. "This isn't just a site; it's a personal contact."
