EndLagNow.org a community devoted to fighting Lag in online games, today announced it has integrated the LagMeter 2.0 tool
with Bigfoot Network'ss Killer's8482; NIC. The new LagMeter 2.0 tool, available as a free download,
will estimate the potential performance benefits of fighting Lag using a Killer NIC in an easy to use performance graph. Additionally, the new LagMeter 2.0 tool detects if the user has a
Killer NIC installed, and shows users an estimation of their performance if they did not have a Killer NIC. LagMeter 2.0 is now available for download at www.EndLagNow.Org.
Developed in conjunction with Bigfoot Networks, LagMeter is designed to measure how much Lag a gamer is experiencing, as measured in Lags-Per-Minute. LagMeter not only shows how much game
Lag is being measured but where it is coming from - the game client, the game server, or the network. LagMeter has been enhanced to graphically show components that are measured to
estimate Lags-per-Minute, namely online Latency and Frames-per-Second. By integrating with the Killer NIC, the LagMeter 2.0 tool can measure performance in the game and show the benefits
of the Killer NIC in one simple program. The tool also now supports skinning and many other new features.
From concept to launch, Bigfoot has been dedicated to developing products to aide gamers in fighting Lag, said Harlan Beverly, co-founder and CEO of Bigfoot Networks. Having support for
the Killer NIC built into LagMeter seemed liked an obvious next step, because EndLagNow is trying to accurately measure Lag and the Killer has been shown to reduce Lag by making online
gaming smoother and faster.
The LagMeter 2.0 application is available for free download at http://www.endlagnow.org.
