Internet Cafe and Gaming Centre The Aubergine Room Sponsor Top eSports...

Playing computer games as a competitive sport is becoming more popular. Following the lead set by South Asia, large tournaments with huge cash prizes are becoming the norm. As with any growth market, the early adopters are finding it tough to find their feet. This is especially true for professional gaming teams, as they struggle to make the jump from skilled hobbyist to professional cyber-athelete.

Not so for Infused Gaming (http://www.infused-gaming.net).

Impressed by their professionalism and skill, The Aubergine Room announced their sponsorship of Infused gaming in March 2007. Using the cutting edge facilities of The Aubergine Room's Internet cafe and gaming centre in Crowthorne, Berkshire, Infused Gaming were able to get some practise in before competing in the massive i30 Multiplay tournament at Newbury racecourse.

With i31 fast approaching, Infused Gaming will once again be using the cutting edge equipment available at The Aubergine Room. With a base of operations so close to the weekend long tournament at Newbury, the members of Infused Gaming will be able to focus on reaching the top of their game.

Multiplay, the UK's number one LAN organisers, hold the I-series of tournaments twice a year at Newbury. Run over a long weekend, the tournaments see over a thousand gamers competing for a prize pot with a total value of over 100,000. The event is televised on the X-League eSports channel on Sky TV, as well as being broadcast over the Internet.

Adam Jessop, General Manager of Infused Gaming, said "Infused have been on the lookout for an official LAN Caf partner for a while, and it was through recommendation that I started to look into The Aubergine Room as a possible candidate. It didn't take me long to realise that the excellent facilities available at the centre and the location, greatly suited the Infused Gaming organisation. The members of staff at The Aubergine Room have been extremely helpful and I look forward to building on our relationship for the long term."

"Infused Gaming's professionalism, combined with their sense of team spirit and community, are an obvious fit with our goals at The Aubergine Room" said Tom Kranz, Managing Director at The Aubergine Room. "We're very pleased to be supporting Infused Gaming at the I series of tournaments."

"We choose are partners with great care, and we're very proud to be sponsoring Infused Gaming. Working closely together we're looking forward to a long and successful partnership."

"By providing hardware for the I series tournaments and training facilities at our Crowthorne centre, we are confident that Infused Gaming will continue to dominate the professional gaming scene."

Founded in 2004, The Aubergine Room (http://www.theaubergineroom.com) is an Internet cafe and gaming centre with a difference.
