SolidLabs Takes Mobile Gaming to the Next Level with Mobile Game Portal



A division of the Winston Salem, NC based company SolidSpace __title__ SolidSpace Website, SolidLabs, a leading developer of premium mobile content and applications and provider of content aggregation services, is announcing the release of their mobile gaming portal


The Viwawa gaming portal allows users to download games directly to their mobile phones, for free. The focus of Viwawa is in the connectivity of multi-player, multi-platform gaming capabilities. The Viwawa gaming portal is available for phones that support JAVA or FlashLite and can be played on desktop computers allowing users to truly capitalize on the multi-player gaming capability and connect with friends from all over the world. For a truly interactive experience users also have the ability to chat with opponents and friends creating a combined gaming and social networking experience.



SolidLabs is offering the game Stwack! on the Viwawa gaming portal. Stwack!, with the use of stick men, takes fighting games to the next level. Similar to traditional video fighting games, players combat each other in a series of fighting moves; the first to lose all their stamina is defeated. With Stwack!, players have the opportunity to earn "gold", allowing them to buy game boosters and power-ups to be at a greater advantage over their opponent. The more matches a player wins, the more gold they can accrue. There will also be overall global and individual player rankings and tournaments, which can earn more gold.



"The goal of Viwawa is to take mobile gaming to a broader perspective and hit all target markets," said Jim Capps, president of SolidLabs. "We've created Viwawa and Stwack! to give users games, but also the chat capability. We relish the fact that multi-player gaming is now mobile and players can compete with friends or make new ones, even if they aren't on the same continent. We are eager to develop more for the multi-person mobile gaming revolution."



This is the second international show that SolidLabs has taken part in. In February of this year, SolidLabs exhibited at the 3GSM Congress in Barcelona, Spain, debuting the company itself and its first product offering GLOW mobile chat. GLOW was the first cross platform chat application that would allow mobile users to chat with friends on AIM, Yahoo!, ICQ, and MSN on both a PC or Mac. The Elite Mobile telco company in South Africa subsequently purchased GLOW.
