After a successful pilot in 2005, seeing some 3 million reports successfully created the system is now ready for its global launch. Paul Honey, MD at STRANGE Corporation commented. This
new tool is great. The old process of determining who'ss been Naughty or who'ss been Nice has been completely streamlined and put on the web. Now people all over the world can submit
reports of Good and Bad behaviour through the system and this provides a valuable reference tool for Santa
The ELF system works on a simple user friendly interface. People are encouraged to report instances of Naughty or Nice behaviour and rank it on a scale. The Naughty Scale ranges from 's a
little bit naughty's through 'squite naughty's through to the most serious rating 'sunspeakably naughty's whereas the Nice scale ranges from 's a bit nice's through 'sjolly nice's to the
highest nice rating 'sexceedingly nice's.
Along with the Naughty or Nice scale a space is also provided for comments to add more details of specific occurrences of the reported behaviour. To ensure a factual and accurate account
of the behaviour in question is achieved an email is automatically sent to the person in question asking them to validate their behaviour. The person is then given the opportunity to
respond with any comments. This helps ensure that there is a full and accurate account of the behaviour and that both sides are heard. The final step in the process is for the ELF system
to rule on the final verdict of the behaviour and assign a Cased ID and an 'sofficial's rating.
The ELF system is located at http://www.checkingittwice.co.uk and will be online until midnight December 24th 2006.
