MAVIX announces Casino Surveillance with 50x Digital Video Search and...

June 22, 2005 -- MAVIX announced today the inclusion of 50X speed searching of digial video. Security personnel are now able to find critical incidents in a matter of seconds. "Analog systems cannot offer this sort of search capability" said Ames Adjai, VP of Business Development at MAVIX. "This cuts down the time and effort required for search and retrieval". This application will be particularly useful to MAVIX Casino clients who are currently searching analog tapes at great cost. "This is the first in a series of major improvements clients will see in the area of rapid search and retrieval" said Lazaro Fraiman, CEO of MAVIX. Fraiman notes that the unique design of MAVIX video servers allows analytics to run on the MAVIX allowing for intelligent alarming and flagging of important video events.
