Hawaii Music Award Winner Kim Char Meredith will Share Some Aloha in East Coast Tour March 11 March 18



March 5, 2005 -- Hawaii Music Award winner Kim Char Meredith shares some aloha spirit and her captivating brand of original pop/rock in mini-tour March 11 through 18. Meredith plays Trenton, NJ on March 11 and three shows in the Boston area March 17 & 18.

Meredith's stint as opening act for Melissa Etheridge in Honolulu was heralded as "perhaps the best concert pairing of the year" (Honolulu Star-Bulletin). Response outside her home state has been equally effusive: "If this woman gets the opportunities that she deserves she could very well become a diva that the entire world will know about in a very short time" (Music Dish). New York concert reviewer Jed Ryan noted: I am convinced that whether on disc or live, no one can express sheer joy and happiness better than Kim Char MeredithHer voice is undeniably sweet, but like the other women of rock 'n' roll, she can belt... In person, she is just as captivating as her music."

Meredith, who also calls Chicago home, recently began producing the Women With Guitars concert series in Chicago. The concert series originated in Honolulu and spawned a cd release by the same name. Now in Chi-town, the series provides up-and-coming artists opportunity to share the stage with (and be mentored by) more established singer-songwriters.

On her East Coast tour, Meredith will be performing songs from her award-winning "Slender Line of Lavender" cd(Passionate Women Records) and her latest release, "Give and Take" (PWR).
