Announcing the recent launch of blumebox.com -- a no commitment folding contemporary styled vase available online. Founders Whitney Swindells and Wade Flanagan developed the blumebox after one fateful weekend when they were cleaning out a cupboard and discovered a horde of unnecessary glass flower vases that had been collected over the years. Not knowing what to do with all the vases that were taking up a lot of storage space, they set out to design a folding flower vase that could be recycled at the end of the life of the flowers.

"We wanted to design a hip vase with contemporary styling that added color to any flower arrangement but was not a long term commitment. With apartment living, storage space is at a premium and why not have a gift box for flowers that can be recycled when the flowers have died Blumebox adds a tremendous amount of color and style to the bouquet."
