First Xtreme Geek Showroom Opens

April 29, 2005 -- X-treme Geek has announced the opening of the flagship X-treme Geek showroom in Rancho Cordova, California. Customers can shop from thousands of hi-tech products including "geek" gadgets, computer accessories, games, and collectibles.



"Our X-treme Geek showroom allows customers to get hands on time with some of the newest and most innovative technology in the world today. Avid technology fans have been lining up and waiting to come in for weeks," says Kelly Carlson, Press Contact for X-treme Geek.



The showroom features many out-of-box samples so visitors may try things out before they decide what to buy. Star Wars light sabers, remote control cars, and video games are openly displayed around the store. One section of the store features "Treats for Geeks" with food items imported from Japan such as sweet-roasted crab and Pocky Chocolate Covered Biscuit Sticks.



The X-treme Geek flagship showroom has been a successful market test for future stores nationwide. "We've already been contacted about franchise opportunities," admits Marketing Manager Wes Sumida "we will be strategically executing our continued growth into the marketplace."
