Robert Hanson, an entrepreneur from New Hampshire, has created a pet he says is perfect for anyone who worries. These pets, called Pet Worry Warts, are cousins of the Pet Rocks of the 1970'ss, but have the special purpose of helping people deal with their worries and live a more positive life.



Pet Worry Warts (http://www.petworrywart.com) were created as fun reminders that you always have a choice - you can choose to worry, or you can choose to look for a way to take positive actions in your life. Scientific studies have shown that eighty-five percent of the things people worry about never happen, and that worrying does not change the outcome of the situation someone is worrying about. However, worry, stress, and fear are still widespread troubles in today'ss world. Hanson says that Pet Worry Warts have an uncanny ability to remove worries from their owner'ss lives, allowing anyone who owns one of these pets to develop a positive, worry-free outlook on life.



The idea for Worry Warts started in Hanson'ss mind about twenty years ago, while observing a friend and coworker who worried so much that everyone called him the worry wart. Hanson explains that I started wondering what a worry wart would look like if they actually existed. Based on this idea, Hanson created the Pet Worry Wart, with its bumpy brown shape and googly eyes, to represent what a worry wart might look like and to remind habitual worriers that they can choose not to worry.
