Swarovski Announces Six Disney Crystal Figurines

January 21, 2005 -- Swarovski has announced a new collection of Disney figurines produced by the Austrian crystal manufacturer. The collection will introduce many new collectors to Swarovski from the Disney collectibles groups, as well as, those collectors of Crystal World crystal figurines, who have collected past creations of Disney crystal characters once created by that manuafacturer, until Crystal World lost the licensing rights late in 2004.



This year marks the start of the exclusive licensing agreement between Swarovski and Disney and the first launch of the crystal characters stamped with the Swarovski Swan logo & the Disney.



With an expected late April 2005 ship date, the Swarovski Disney collection will be highly anticipated by collectors as pre-orders are already coming in to retailers of the Swarovski brand.



The details of the figurines are so life like. Swarovski has done a wonderful job in capturing the beloved cartoon characters, from the hand position of Daisy, to the whiskers of Goofey, the shoes of Minnie, the body facets and the eyes of all the crystal figurines are amazing.
