Prescott Arizona Home Community Talking Rock Names Pamela Mitchell as Athletic Director

Pamela Mitchell was recently named athletic director for Talking Rock 's8211; a private, 3,400-acre master-planned community with a casual western lifestyle, offers prime real estate in Prescott, Arizona. Mitchell will manage the Athletic Club, a state-of-the-art exercise, health and wellness facility set to open in late December, located within the Prescott, AZ property's8217;s Ranch Compound. Mitchell most recently was Group Exercise Instructor for Anytime Fitness in Prescott Valley, Ariz., where she instructed a variety of group exercise classes. Prior to that, Mitchell was Athletics Director for Troon Golf-Anthem Country Club in Henderson, Nev., where she managed a 14,000 square foot Athletic Club facility, including fitness, tennis, aquatics programs, a day care and a full service salon and spa.

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from The University of Iowa with an emphasis on fitness and wellness, Mitchell is well prepared to manage the new facility. With a solid work background in country club settings, Mitchell worked her way through the ranks at Terravita Golf & Country Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. as a fitness instructor and stayed with the company for several years, achieving success as the Fitness Director.
