Fastdater Travel Announces Golf Camp Sports Weekend Charity Fundraiser for Singles



January 17, 2005 -- Fastdater Travel www.fastdatertravel.com announces its Singles Golf Camp, Sports Weekend & Charity Fundraiser. The event will take place in Scottsdale, Arizona starting May 8th. Participants can choose either a 4 day mini week or 7 day full week option. This singles event will afford both golfing and non-golfing singles the opportunity to meet, socialize and participate in a large selection of interesting sports related activities. Singles can enjoy the week while they learn and play golf with the knowledge they are supporting a great cause. Donations will come from various vendors who are giving part of their fees to "All Golf's Kids" www.allgolfskids.org a non-profit organization whose mission is to motivate and inspire less-privileged "at-risk" inner city kids through golf.
   
According to Mark Braunstein of Fastdater Travel "Our Golf & Sports Fundraiser will offer singles a great way to meet, participate in supporting a good cause, enjoy Scottsdale and partake in the many outdoor activities the area has to offer." The singles week package will include a two day intensive golf camp program provided by the John Jacobs Golf School www.johnjacbosgolfschool.com which has been offering instructional programs for over 30 years, and is considered one the premiere schools in the country. Group lessons will be small (5:1 Student/Instructor ratio) and instruction will be offered at all levels of ability. For the non-golfing singles Fastdater Travel will have an on-site staff to arrange alternate group activities such as horseback riding, ballooning, tennis, Grand Canyon tours or just relaxing at the pool. Singles can use the week as a fun entry to golf. It's always a daunting task to just go on your own and sign up for lessons at a local club. However, in the context of our singles golf camp week, this will be an easier proposition. Guests will be staying at The Millennium Scottsdale McCormick Ranch a beautiful facility located on a unique desert location on the pristine shores of Camelback Lake.

Group trips for singles are becoming increasingly more popular as a larger proportion of our population is remaining single longer.
