PGA Tour Superstore Partners With Serious Tennis Largest TennisOnly Retailer In The Atlanta Ga Area



February 11, 2005 -- Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc. (GTPS), owner of PGA Tour Superstore, has announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with the Atlanta-area's largest tennis-only retailer that will result in the Superstore's tennis section being named "Serious Tennis."

Serious Tennis is operated by Deana Mitchell, Scott Jones and Lianna Jones. The store is known in the Atlanta area for its high quality equipment, large selection and dedication to game improvement. They are also known as "Atlanta's friendliest tennis shops."

"Scott, Lianna and I are thrilled to have Serious Tennis associated with the Superstore," said Deana Mitchell. "Golf & Tennis Pro Shop is focused on game improvement in the sport of tennis, and so are we. It's a perfect match."

The PGA Tour Superstore with its Serious Tennis store-within-a-store will open on March 10, 2005 in Roswell, Ga. The approximately 70,000 square foot store will have 7,500 square feet dedicated to tennis apparel, equipment and instruction. It will be located in Holcomb Bridge Crossing in Roswell, Ga., just one-half mile east of highway GA400, at the intersection of Holcomb Bridge Road and Old Alabama Road.

"We're dedicated to helping both golfers and tennis players enjoy their sports to the fullest, and that's why we are so focused on game improvement," said Jorge Cora, chief financial officer of GTPS. "Our strategy for tennis is similar to our strategy for golf - all aspects of customer service will be provided by experienced tennis professionals. We'll also use the latest computerized technology to analyze and understand how someone's game can be improved."

When it opens this spring, the Serious Tennis section of the Superstore will become the biggest tennis shop in the Atlanta area. It will feature the area's largest selection of designer-name tennis apparel and tennis equipment in one location, as well as the most tennis extensive services.

Many of the GTPS' principals live in Atlanta and so we have long observed how Serious Tennis operates.
