May 13, 2005 -- Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore Adds Second Swing Analysis Simulator To Swing Labs At Both Grand Strand Locations
Swing Labs Are Used By On-Staff PGA And LPGA Professionals To Assist Golfers With Club Fitting And To Provide Lessons
May 10, 2005, Myrtle Beach, S.C. - Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore has added a second computerized swing simulator to the Swing Lab sections of both its Broadway At The Beach location in
Myrtle Beach, and its North Myrtle Beach store. On-staff PGA and LPGA professionals use the swing analysis equipment to assist with club fitting, as well as to analyze a golfer's swing
and provide instruction.
A swing analysis bay includes a high-tech swing simulator and launch monitor that show ball flight/trajectory, swing plane, swing speed and the distance a ball travels after it is struck
by the individual golfer. Combined, the Swing Lab components create an entertaining, interactive atmosphere that sets the stage for golfers to learn more about their individual games.
"The services provided by the Swing Lab are so popular that we needed to add another bay to handle all the demand for club fitting and instruction," said Steve Conwell, vice president of
merchandising of Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc., the owners of Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore. "We have more PGA and LPGA professionals on staff than any other retailer in the area, and
they use the bays to combine the computer's feedback with their experience in club fitting and instruction. The equipment enables Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore to give the golfer the best
of both worlds - professional expertise and objective technical analysis."
