Mel Sole Once Again Named Top Teacher By Golf Magazine

April 6, 2005 -- South Carolina Instructor One Of The Nation's Finest. Mel Sole, who owns and operates the award-winning Phil Ritson-Mel Sole Golf School at Pawleys Plantation was named one of the "Top Teachers" in the U.S. and Canada in the February issue of Golf Magazine. Sole is one of only four teachers chosen for the state of South Carolina.



The "Top Teachers" prestigious list is comprised of male and female instructors who meet Golf Magazine's criteria which includes extraordinary technical knowledge, a keen eye for detecting faults, the ability to prescribe clear solutions to problems and a dedication to students and the progression of the game. Sole has 30 years of international teaching experience. He is a teaching editor with Golf Tips magazine and is the author of the recently published book, "Golf Step-by-Step."
