World Series of Golf Charity Event Cancelled

February 9, 2005 -- World Series of Golf Inc. regrets to announce that its initiative to hold a Tsunami Relief Charity Benefit has been cancelled. Support from both the comedians and golfers has been slow to materialize although several headliner comedians did commit to participate in the event. Failure to land coverage of the event by a major television network seemed to stall the event and prevented the anticipated tsunami wave of support.



Buck Star, the rising comedian star from Hollywood, and Brian Keenan from the World Series of Golf worked around the clock to secure celebrity commitments and support facilities for the event where disappointed about the cancellation but encouraged at the support for this unique humanitarian initiative. Both Buck and Brian are committed to working with organizations like UNICEF to reschedule another event as the tsunami struck regions moves to the reconstruction phase.
