netprogress Announce Sponsorship of NetGuide by UCTV
Whilst some search engines are easy to use for the visually and physically impaired, this is not necessarily true of the sites returned in the results of any searches carried out.
net-guide provides an accessibility rating for the websites returned for any query entered. Similarly, the directory entries also carry an accessibility rating, so that users will know which websites in the results are likely to provide them with a good visitor experience.
UCTV is an online community in which students can learn about university choice, swap experiences, win prizes and share files.
UCTV has agreed to sponsor net-guide as part of their social responsibility programme.
Speaking for net-progress, Director Paul Crichton said, 's8220;Its great news for net-guide to have support from UCTV. As net-guide is a not-for-profit project, it helps us to cover the cost of maintaining it and look to developing it further in the future.'s8221;
The sponsorship campaign is also supported by the Royal National Institute of the Blind, who will receive part of the sponsorship to help in their wider remit.
