On Wednesday November 12th at 9:00 AM Eastern, the doors will virtually open to the world'ss largest online college fair, CollegeWeekLive. In this free Fall event, high school students and their parents can visit and interact with representatives from over 200 colleges with just the click of a mouse.
The two-day virtual college fair revolutionizes the way high school students apply to college. CollegeWeekLive features virtual booths manned live by admissions officers, as well as
speaker tracks led by experts from such organizations as The Princeton Review, US News 's38; World Report, the ACT and U.S. Department of Education, covering need-to-know topics, such as
how to prepare for the SAT or how to pay for college. Attendees can ask questions via live video chat and receive answers from speakers during live presentations. Attendees can also video
chat with students at over fifty colleges and universities and learn what campus life is really like at the school of their choice.
Here'ss how it works: Those interested in attending can register for the event at www.collegeweeklive.com any time leading up to or during the
program. On the days of the live event, November 12th 's38; 13th, registrants can login and visit virtual booths for colleges, from Stanford and UCLA, to Northeastern and Yale. Each
school'ss virtual booth will feature electronic brochures, videos, webinars, podcasts and real-time IM and video chat between admissions counselors and students/parents. Students can also
attend speaker sessions or reference a rich supply of resource material related to college admissions, whether it is the Common Application or FAFSA forms.
On November 12th and 13th, thousands of students, parents and guidance counselors will be able to navigate the world of college admission from the convenience of a computer, said Robert
Rosenbloom, CEO and President of PlatformQ, producer of CollegeWeekLive. This is going this to be our biggest college fair yet, with 20,000 attendees expected. We have extended show hours
from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM Eastern time to accommodate students in different countries, time zones, or those with busy after-school schedules.
The CollegeWeekLive environment enables attendees to come and go as they please, as they gather information and compare colleges. More than 80 hours of live streaming content is available
during the two days, as well as after the event for ninety days to those who register. CollegeWeekLive lets high school students and their parents see more schools in less time and save
money by narrowing their choice of schools before they drive or fly. Likewise, colleges that exhibit at CollegeWeekLive are able to reach a greater diversity of students both
geographically and socio-economically, because physical college fairs only reach major cities and touch a fraction of potentially interested students. To learn more about CollegeWeekLive
