Lolalu Design Hosts Freelance Designer Networking Meeting
hings discussed were sharing resources, referrals, problem solving and miscellaneous items that will help us grow our businesses.
Seattle, WA January 10, 2008 -- Anita Elder, owner of Lolalu Design (http://www.lolaludesign.com), hosted the first networking meeting of freelance graphic designers in the Seattle area on Saturday, January 5, 2008. About a dozen designers attended to discuss ways to grow their business and share resources like printers, copy writers and editors. Tools and tips were also discussed. Each designer gave a mini-commercial about their skills and specialties so other designers could possibly refer work to them if they get a project out of their scope or have too much on their schedule.
A newsletter outlining everything that was discussed was sent to the attendees the following day and a future meeting is to be planned in six months.
