January 24, 2005 -- The Brisbane Buteyko Asthma Trial at the state of the art Mater Hospital stunned the doctors involved. There was an average 90% decrease in the need for relief medication, a 50% decrease in need for steroid medication, and a huge increase in the "quality of life" measurements.
