Orange, CA March 31, 2008 -- There are only a few seats left for the 10th Annual Innovations in Healthcare(SM) Awards Event, to be held on April 23, 2008, in Costa Mesa, and a sell-out is expected. Keynoted by Revolution Health's Steve Case (the co-founder of America Online), this Event honors organizations that have demonstrated transformative advances in medical devices, diagnostics, therapeutics, information technology and innovative approaches to providing care and coverage, decreasing the numbers of uninsured, and engaging healthcare consumers more actively in their care and health status, all of which reduces the cost of providing quality healthcare.

This year, Steve Case, Chairman and CEO of Revolution Health Group (and co-founder of AOL) will receive the 2008 "Leadership in Innovation" Award, as well as deliver the keynote presentation at the event, hosted by the Adaptive Business Leaders (ABL) Organization. Additionally, nine national ABBY Award Finalists will present to the Event's audience of senior executives. Award winners will then be selected, by secret ballot, by the attendees. A list of this year 's ABBY Award Finalists is available at http://www.abl.org/IIH2008.htm.

The afternoon will also feature a "strolling" networking lunch for all attendees where more than 20 leading-edge companies will exhibit their innovations in healthcare, as well as during the celebration networking reception at the Event's conclusion.

"This year's Innovations Event will be the best healthcare cost-reduction showcase yet," noted Mimi Grant, ABL's president. "The combination of Steve Case as Keynoter and our outstanding ABBY Award Finalists has stimulated a tremendous response to this year 's Awards. Our objective is that others will apply these innovations -- and create even more innovative ways -- to lower the cost of providing quality healthcare."

The 10th Annual Innovations in Healthcare Awards and Event Ceremony is open to ABL Members, as well as senior executives of healthcare providers, payers, medical device, bio/pharma, and healthcare information and services firms.
