Advantage Fitness Products Names New COO

Advantage Fitness Products (AFP), an industry leading provider of innovative fitness and wellness-based solutions in planning, design, supply and support to commercial facilities worldwide, has announced this week that Andrew Kane has been appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer.

AFP's consistent and steady growth has been highlighted during the past few years by major expansion into key east coast markets to support the growing business demand in those areas, establishing AFP as the nation's leading bi-coastal-based commercial fitness design and supply company. Kane will be actively engaged in meeting the increasing demands resulting from AFP's steady growth. The addition will also enable Bryan Green, AFP's President and CEO, to focus more on client & supply partner relations, and business development.

Kane joins AFP from GCC, an East Coast based merchant bank focused on providing expansion capital to small and mid market companies, where he served as Vice Chairman during the past year. There his key objectives included managing west coast operations, and identifying and assisting in investment banking opportunities for GCC.

As the CEO for HSBC Private Bank in Southern California from 2002-2006, Kane led a high-level executive team offering banking, lending, wealth management and wealth/tax advisory services. From 1974-2002, Kane was a Managing Partner at Arthur Andersen, one of the worlds leading accounting and consulting firms, until its demise.
