National Black Health and Fitness Month Campaign in May again in 2005
May 2, 2005 -- Cassandra M. Cisse Wimbs, MS., MA has been an event coordinator for National Black Health and Fitness Month since 2000, when she and a network of organizers received 3 proclamations including a congressional one for health promotional activities in Harlem.
This year the main theme is "Address Your Stress".

May is the month of fitness, older adult, physical activity, hypertension, speech and hearing, world asthma day,bike month, women's health among others.
The blog and the newsletter feature must read book lists, reviews, health studies, recommendations, question and answer.
Ms. Wimbs enjoys a number of awards, certificates, honors and positions for her work in health. She was recently appointed to the advisory board of mens health network. She also has a certificate from the World Health Organization. She has 3 more Mayoral proclamations on African world health. She has published on traditional and women's health. Her first masters is in Human Ecology. She is certified in yoga, polarity and with Hippocrates Health Institute.
She is an adjunct professor at the College of New Rochelle teacing Health, Nutrition and Stress Management. She will be teaching a hatha yoga teaching certification class this summer.
