Health Providers Hold Hurricane Healing Day



Throughout the month of September, Chiropractors and other health providers will be donating hundreds of hours of their time and service to local residents in order to raise money for the American Red Cross relief efforts.

"We want to bring support and comfort to the victims of hurricane Katrina and also provide people with a hands-on opportunity to "give back" by donating to the American Red Cross," said Dr. Scott Garber, of High Street Chiropractic.

"Our community and nation is under tremendous stress as they watch the post-hurricane events unfold each day on television, in the newspaper and on the radio," said Dr.Scott. On Friday September 16th and Friday September 23rd, High Street Chiropractic will be providing free health screenings, exams and adjustments from 9am until 7pm in exchange for donations to the American Red Cross and the public is invited to attend. "We want to help de-stress the community with chiropractic adjustments, massage, and reflexology that will relax both the body and the central nervous system" said Dr. Scott, "

For a $25 donation to the American Red Cross, supporters can enjoy chiropractic healthcare services including consultations, exams and chiropractic adjustments.
