New Mom Launches Golf Journal Designed For Gals Who Golf

Journal designer and new mom Susan Osborne, founder of SporteeGal Journals, announce the release of their debut ladies golf journal, specifically designed for gals who golf.

The SporteeGal golf journal was inspired by Osborne'ss desire to record her golfing outings with girlfriends. She also wanted a way to help track performance and set goals to help improve her game.

The SporteeGal golf journal was her solution.

Osborne said: Not only do I have a lot of great memories on the course with friends and family, but I want to set some goals in 2009 so I can improve my game. I couldn'st find anything on the market that specifically addressed that desire, so I created it.

Susan Osborne created SporteeGal Journals in July 2008 after the premature birth of her son, Jacob. Writing details of Jacob'ss every development in his baby book inspired Osborne to create a line of niche journals designed for active gals.

My mom was constantly reminding me to record Jake'ss every new move in his baby book so he could look back on it someday. The light bulb went off in my head that there are probably a lot of women out there who would like to do the same with their sporting activities, yet taking it a step further and using the journal as a tool to enhance practice and set goals to further develop their skill.

New SporteeGal journals slated for release in 2009 include tennis, marathon/triathlon and fitness journals.

SporteeGal Journals donates $1 from the sale of every journal through its website to the non-profit organization, Newborns In Need.

I was deeply moved by the babies that I saw in the hospital intensive care unit where my baby spent 8 days. I needed to find some way to help those in need.

Donating a portion of the proceeds to Newborns In Need helps Osborne accomplish that goal.

And this all starts with the one-of-a-kind golf journal, designed for either the serious or casual golfer gal, is made of a durable nylon and features five sections structured to help organize information and optimize practices and goals. It also features a section for favorite photos and two pockets for scorecards worth keeping, all bound together with a metal 6-ring binder.

At just $26.95, with the option of free gift wrapping, the journal makes a perfect, affordable gift. It is available for purchase at www.sporteegal.com.
