Pizza Fusion to Sponsor Events During Boca Festival Days



Pizza Fusion, the all-natural, organic and earth-friendly pizza company, will be sponsoring two events during the Boca Festival Days. As part of Pizza Fusion's8217;s dedication to the local community and the environment they have been selected to cater both the Boca Raton Children's8217;s Foundation (BRCF) 's8220;Mission Possible's8221; event and Gumbo Limbo's8217;s 's8220;Sea Turtle Day's8221; event.



Boca Festival Days is a month-long, citywide series of events held during the month of August that is aimed at promoting business growth during Boca's8217;s 's8220;off-season.'s8221; The event began more than 35 years ago, and has grown ever since. It now features over 40 activities held throughout the city for which thousands of participants attend. Pizza Fusion, along with their charitable donations and staff involvement, will be donating all the food to the participants and volunteers during these two events -- all in part to better the community.



BRCF's8217;s 's8220;Mission Possible's8221; takes place on Thursday, August 10th, 2006, from 6:00 p.m. 's8211; 9:00 p.m. at the Town Canter Mall, near Nordstrom's8217;s. All the proceeds of 's8220;Mission Possible's8221; will benefit the BRCF.



The BRCF is a non-profit organization and community based volunteer advocacy group comprised of dedicated, charitable-minded individuals working to drive awareness and generate funds to support children in need located in Boca Raton and surrounding communities. Their goal is to generate funds directed at children for special purposes including, but not limited to basic living essentials -- food, shelter, clothing, medical care, educational scholarships, supplies, and other needs where necessary. Gumbo Limbo's8217;s 's8220;Sea Turtle Day's8221; will be held on Saturday, August 12th, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. 's8211; 3:00 p.m. at the Environmental Complex located on Ocean Boulevard just North of Palmetto Park Road.



The Gumbo Limbo Environmental Complex is owned and operated by the City of Boca Raton and funded by the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District. The complex is designed to provide environmental education for the community through classes, seminars, workshops, field trips and research. Pizza Fusion's8217;s first store opened this summer in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and plans are in the works for a second store in East Boca Raton along with a third in Miami's8217;s South Beach area.
