Ecoms Expansion Efforts are Underway



Due to its current growth, Ecom PPO Advisors, Inc.SM is now operating out of a second Dallas facility that will showcase its innovation and current status as the leader in the managed care industry.

On December 20, 2006, the ribbon cutting ceremony commenced the move of the Ecom claim'ss department to a new office location. The new space is located in the Campbell Centre Tower II in Dallas. A unique feature of the office is a vault where claims are processed. Along with the new location, technology, infrastructure systems and architecture changes have been made. Database partitioning was one of the projects that was rolled out along with the expansion.

Along with the increased performance that the recently completed database partitioning project offers, the new office space will enable our operators to work more efficiently, said Director of System Engineering, Michael Newman.

Security is of up most importance to Ecom and it has maintained the highest levels of security since its inception in 1998. In conjunction with the database partitioning project, this is a significant step in increasing the security and efficiency with which we are able to handle our client'ss claims.

This expansion effort sets the stage for additional growth, but still allows operation within close proximity, said Ecom President and Chief Operating Officer, Rachel Graham.

In 2000, Ecom moved into its existing office space, which is in the Campbell Centre Tower I.

We are extremely excited about the additional space and I am confident it will enable us to continue to provide extraordinary customer service. There are several exciting initiatives on the horizon at Ecom, and from an operations standpoint, this will allow us to prepare for another successful year, said Vice President of Operations, Alvin Bowser.
