Dr. Allen Raphael Achieves Board Certification

Allen Raphael, DPM, a staff surgeon with Village Podiatry Centers, has been named a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS), joining an elite group of physicians. The ACFAS reserves Fellow membership status for surgeons who earn board certification from the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS). Dr. Raphael was recently board certified in foot surgery.

Dr. Raphael earned a B.S. in Biology at Kennesaw State University and his doctorate in podiatric medicine at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed a three-year surgical residency at Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Decatur.

As a podiatric surgeon, Dr. Raphael provides treatment and surgery for all foot, ankle and lower leg conditions and injuries. He specializes in treatment of fractures, bunions, tendon injuries, infections and diabetic foot care. His office is located in Smyrna at 3969 South Cobb Drive on the campus of Emory Adventist Hospital.
