Hospital Pharmacy Data Analytics Gets Next Generation Release withPandoraVIA

Pandora Data Systems www.pandoradatasystems.com announced the release of PandoraVIA, their next generation product for hospital pharmacy data analytics and reporting. PandoraVIA is architected to provide an extensible reporting platform following Service-Oriented-Architecture (SOA) standards. In addition to continuing and expanding support of Automated Dispensing Systems (ADS) in hospital pharmacy environments, PandoraVIA provides support for Bedside Point of Care (BPOC) systems for reporting and analytics.

With its's PandoraSQL product installed at over 800 hospitals across the country, Pandora Data Systems has for 20 years been providing the analytics and reporting for the use of ADS in hospitals to detect and deter drug diversion, increase inventory efficiency, and assist in compliance auditing while increasing patient safety and operational efficiency. The new architecture of PandoraVIA provides greater scalability and performance to large hospital network deployments, while maintaining the functionality and performance desired by independent and smaller hospitals as well. The support of BPOC enhances the detection of drug diversion instances with full loop reconciliation reports while allowing managers to monitor staff performance and workflow.
