Northern TranscriptionWorks Wins Innovation Award

The Virginia-based medical transcription service company Northern TranscriptionWorks (NTW) with production facility in Cebu, Philippines won the prestigious Most Innovative Product of the Year in the 2007 e-Services Philippines (ESP) Global Sourcing Conference and Exhibition. The awarding ceremony was held at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel in Manila, Philippines.



The ESP Conference is one of the biggest annual IT and IT-enabled services (ITES) outsourcing meet in the region and the country'ss first and only annual IT/BPO conference and exhibition.



Northern TranscriptionWorks garnered the Most Innovative Product of the Year award for Enplay, its advanced in-house audio player software. Developed by NTW'ss software programmers, EnPlay is the only audio player software in the Philippines specially suited for the challenges faced by medical transcriptionists. Through the software, the raw dictation from the doctor is automatically filtered to remove noises that hamper the clarity of dictation. Thus, it insures transcript accuracy, thereby boosting both quality and timely delivery of medical reports.



NTW has always looked towards technological and systems innovations not only to improve employee productivity, but also to make its operations efficient. We have a myriad of internally developed technologies like Enroute, our automated job delivery system, and are currently working on the advanced version of EnPlay.
