ACTHA Receives Boost from Clinton Anderson and DownunderHorsemanship

Clinton was quoted's8230;You have the perfect opportunity to practice and employ everything you'sve learned here at Downunder and help horses in need at the same time. Check out ACTHA, The American Competitive Trail Horse Association. They have casual competitions all across the USA where you can APPLY what you'sve learned here. You'sll have fun, get recognition, win great prizes and do your part for Horses that really need to be remembered.

Adds Kandace Underwood, Media Coordinator/No Worries Club Advisor For Downunder Horsemanship, The entire Downunder team is happy to assist ACTHA in its endeavors. Anyone that knows us realizes we have always had concern for horses at risk and it ranks high in our priorities. ACTHA simply is a collective conduit to make inroads happen faster and better. And tying in a fun casual competition as the central theme, where riders can practice what they'sve learned here, as well as from the other great clinicians, is pure genius!

Shared values are what brought Downunder Horsemanship and ACTHA together, says Carrie Scrima, ACTHA Founder and Chief Designer. It is only appropriate that Clinton and Downunder have shown this support for ACTHA. He has done so much, for so many horses and riders, and embodies the standard of giving back and supporting the industry. In turn, we at ACTHA support Clinton and the entire Downunder team, and recognize their tireless zeal in bringing true horsemanship to the world.

According to ACTHA Marketing Director Tom Scrima, It is the generous help from people like Clinton, our wonderful sponsors and most of all our riders and affiliates that have fueled our astonishing growth. We have gone from a well meaning local Texas organization and in 4 short years find ourselves in a postion to do some real meaningful things for the unwanted horses all across the USA. In the upcoming 12 months, says Scrima, ACTHA will have over 250 rides, and our goal is 1,000 per year. At this level, we hope to donate hundreds of thousands per year to horse rescues and horse charities. For this, we are indebted to Clinton and Downunder Horsemanship, as well as longtime ACTHA supporters, such as Rick Lamb, Mayatex, Cavallo Horse and Rider and wonderful publications such as Trail Blazer Magazine, Equus, Horse and Rider and Natural Horse.
