Downtown Memphis, TN on October 13-15, 2006. The event will bring in readers, authors, and booksellers from all over the country for the annual event sponsored by Humanities
Tennessee.
The Southern Festival of Books will feature Grace E. Howell from 3:30-5:00 pm, L10 : Coming of Age in the South : Grace Howell, Candie Moonshower, Helen Hemphill, Ronald Kidd and Paula
Egner from 3:30-4:30 pm, L8 : Trials, Triumphs and the Search for Happiness: Two Novels : Paula Egner, Thomas J. Davis.
Grace Howell is a former teacher and school librarian who loves sharing books and stories with young people. Her writing has been in several magazines and anthologies. She volunteers at
the Memphis Botanic Garden and landscapes new homes for Habitat for Humanity. She lives with her husband in Memphis, Tennessee. True Friends
