Approximatedly a year ago, John J. Rigo and his wife, Linda S. Terry, owners of an insurance casuality agency of twenty-two years in McKinney, Texas donated four months of their time and
personal funds to remodel three major rooms of the new Samaritan Inn of McKinney, Texas.
The quality of the construction which was overseen every day rivals the interior of a half a mlllion dollar home. The central core room became a library consisting of paneled walls and
book shelves build in the 30 x 30 room with traventine floors with marble inserts, faux finished walls and indirect lighting thru-out. The Inn is considered one of the most beautiful
homeless shelters in this part of the country.
McKinney, Texas being the fastest growing city in the United States with a population over 50,000. In that same spirit, Mr. Rigo who has been writing poetry as a hobby announced the
publication of his first book, Roses Amidst Thorns, a twenty year journey in poetry writing. Mr. Rigo has announced in the same spirit as their Samaritan Inn Project that all net profits
from the sale of this book will be given to Christian based project and programs in Collin County, Texas to serve the poor, homes and the sick. Orders for this book may be made thru
