The Extreme Filmmaker 48 Hour Film Festival was created to remove the usual excuses that prevent filmmakers from actually making their films. With no entry fees, no budgets and a time commitment of only 48 hours from the start of the shoot to the delivery of the final edited product, the 48 Hour Film Festival has motivated literally hundreds of short films from incredibly talented filmmakers.



This year'ss festival will be held September 28th at the Arclight Cinema. Films should be on DV tape, shot and edited in 48 hours, eight minutes or less. Pre-production is allowed outside the 48 hour time frame.
