Weekend Warriors Annual Adult Recreational Womens Hockey Camp Relocates to New Jersey



Weekend Warriors Adult Hockey Academy is hosting its annual Lady Warriors weekend camp August 3-6 2006, in Morristown, NJ this year. Mennen Sports Arena will host.

's8220;This new location,'s8221; says Rick Parisi, Weekend Warriors Adult Hockey Academy owner, 's8220;makes it an easy drive for anyone coming from New England or from the DC Metro area. Also,'s8221; he added, 's8220;the rink is just a quick 25 minute drive from Newark airport.'s8221;

Weekend Warriors Adult Hockey Academy is an extended weekend hockey camp for adults only. The Morristown location is this year's8217;s women's8217;s-only camp. The camp includes twelve hours of on-ice instruction, hot stoves, chalk talks, and social events including a 's8220;break-the-ice's8221; social and a Saturday evening banquet.

's8220;Women are encouraged to attend any of our camps,'s8221; said Parisi, 's8220;but the annual Lady Warriors camp is a favorite of some.'s8221; 's8220;It'ss the best's8221; said Laurine, a three-time Lady Warrior weekend attendee from Bernardsville, NJ, 's8220;having a women'ss only camp was a great success.'s8221;

The camp was started and is run by a skater just like the attendees of the camp. 's8220;I was never a pro, in fact, I didn's8217;t start playing ice hockey until I was thirty,'s8221; says Parisi.
